What’s Happening?

This year God is giving us many opportunities to bless others and serve His Global Servants. We got off to a great start as we began with a time of praying as a staff team and board members early in January. It was an encouraging time and a reminder of our dependence on Him for all that we do here at Sanctuary Inn.

On January 20-21 we once again had our booth (and Joann’s famous chocolate chip cookies) at Mission Connexion NW. We had many good conversations as individuals from other missions organizations and local churches are eager to learn about what we do and how they can partner with us. There is a growing awareness of the need for Missionary Care.

At the conference we also launched the registration and heavily publicized the upcoming Care Connexion conference that we are participating in planning and sponsoring on May 5 & 6 in Beaverton, OR. This conference will be a place for churches, counselors/coaches, mission agencies, training schools and everyone who is a part of the care of a missionary to come and learn together. You can come learn too!

After our winter break our doors are once again open for our various lodge retreats as well as our missionary guests. We have several guests scheduled to be with us this winter and spring and some are already planning their summer stays with us. We covet your prayers as our guests each come with various needs for rest and refreshment. It is always our prayer that God will meet them in this place and use us to be a blessing in their lives.

As we look forward to the remainder of the year there are many events on our calendar. We would love to have you join us!

July 22 – Family Fun Day – A free family friendly event with live music, games, and food.
August 26th – Annual Fundraising Dinner – An evening to celebrate God at work in this place.
December 9th – Jazz on the Mountain Christmas Edition – A free evening of live music, amazing desserts, and Christmas lights.

We are excited for all that God is doing in 2023 in and through us. Thank you for your part in this work and ministry. It takes all of us together… thousands of prayers, hundreds of hours serving, generous giving, and active participation in our events to make this place a reality. Thank you!
