Each of our board members brings tremendous cross-cultural, ministerial, and professional expertise that is helping us to grow and thrive.
Calvin is the director of MastersMind Ministry – a ministry of healing prayer. He is passionate about coaching and mentoring. He also has sixteen years of experience doing personal financial planning and was a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). He and his wife Julie have three adult children.
Katie Crawford has been passionate about supporting missionaries and pastoral care for years. At age 19 when on a mission trip, she had a vision about a place where people focused on doing God’s Kingdom work could come for refreshment. Sound familiar? Katie has a B.S. from Multnomah Bible College (now University) in Bible and Theology with a minor in Women’s Ministries. Katie has worked at Nike for 17 years. She is currently the Global Director of Order Management, SEC. She loves working with international teams and visiting countries and cultures beyond the US.
Debbie works as the Controller for Multnomah University and serves as the Treasurer for Sanctuary Inn; Debbie has also served for many years on the Missions Team at Montavilla Baptist Church.
Steve & Joann
Steven and Joann are the innkeepers. They have been in ministry for many years including time overseas and in local church ministry. For the last ten years they directed the residential ministry of the WorldView Center in Portland before starting up Sanctuary Inn in 2016.
Laurie has worked with missionary kids, has taught preschool, and served in an MK school. Laurie is mom to three lovely children
Micah grew up overseas as a TCK. He is a software engineer and helped build the Website Agency (CIRV) where he has worked for 11 years. He and his lovely wife Kara have two sweet daughters.
Dan and his wife Anna are the parents of two sons, Jesse and Everett. Dan comes from a YWAM ministry background, enjoys teaching and preaching, and graduated from Western Seminary with a Masters in Biblical Studies and Theology.
