Volunteer Coordinator (Our most significant volunteer need)
This is a volunteer position that would involve communicating with all existing and potential volunteers for the ongoing ministry of Sanctuary Inn in Welches, OR. The Volunteer Coordinator would only need to be on site in order to introduce new volunteers and lead any volunteer days that arise.
The Volunteer Coordinator would be responsible for:
- Regular Communicating with existing volunteers
- Scheduling Volunteers
- Determining Volunteer Activities/Needs
- Communicating with interested Churches
- Creating Volunteer Activities/Projects
- Familiarizing themselves with the grounds and equipment.
- Report any extra tools or equipment needed
- Rent and order necessary tools and equipment to get a project(s) done.
- Volunteer Recruitment for special events (i.e., Golf Tournament, Fundraising Dinner, etc.)
The Volunteer Coordinator will report to Steve Price and will work with the staff to articulate potential projects and activities for volunteers.
This will be approximately 5-10 hours a week depending on volunteer activity.

Sanctuary Inn is home to three large buildings on nine acres. There is much work to be done in the ongoing care of our property and buildings so that this can be a warm and welcoming place for Global Kingdom Workers who come needing to be equipped, refreshed, and restored.
We can use just about any skill and talent you have — chopping wood, painting, cleaning, cooking, sewing, decorating, organizing, gardening, landscaping, social media management,… etc. Or perhaps you have a professional skill such as plumbing, electrician, event planning, arborist, contractor, landscaper… just to name a few.
Sanctuary Inn is already so blessed to have wonderful volunteers who have given us their time and talent and we would be honored if you too would join the team!
