What an incredible last few weeks. In August we geared up for our Annual Fundraising Dinner with the help of many volunteers. We are thankful for all of you who gave your time to make the event possible. There were 100 guests who attended the event on August 27th and they were very encouraged with what God is doing here to equip, refresh, and restore His global workers. God provided over $65,000! These funds go towards the general budget so we can continue investing in the missionaries that stay at Sanctuary Inn.

We are also elated to announce that Sanctuary Inn was awarded a grant from the Murdock Trust! This grant will allow our Development Director role to move from part-time to full-time focusing on building new and existing relationships. We believe that we are moving into a season of growth and are looking forward to being able to accommodate and minister to more missionaries. As of right now we can host approximately 12 guests at any given time. Our goal is to be able to host up to 30 guests. We have seen the healing power of community and being able to share with others who have experienced what life is like on the mission field.

Along with that, do you remember how God asked us in the beginning of 2020 to focus our efforts on paying off the Sanctuary Inn property? We are almost there. He has provided $381,000 already! Sanctuary Inn only owes $119,000. I say ONLY because he was able to provide the $390,000 in just two years.

We are trusting God to provide the needed funds to pay off the entirety of the property by the end of 2022. Do you remember the 77-project? When a friend of the ministry asked the question, “What would happen if 1,000 people gave $77.” Because of your generosity we are closer than ever to paying off the property. I would like you to consider two things:

  • Would you consider giving a gift towards paying off the property loan?

  • Would you consider asking friends if they would give towards paying off the property loan?

We know that this is a step of faith for all of us but we believe that God can do far more than we could ever ask or imagine. Please be praying with us as we pray by faith that Sanctuary Inn would be completely debt free by the end of the year and we would be free to do more of the work God has called us too.

Thank you for your continued prayers and involvement in the ministry of Sanctuary Inn!

We are so grateful for all who were able to come and join us at our Annual Fundraiser Dinner. And we couldn’t have done it without our generous and hard working volunteers. Thank you for your partnership in caring for God’s global servants!

Did you know?

You may have heard that Sanctuary Inn has had close to 300 missionary guests come in the last five years. But, did you know that many of our guests come back multiple times? We had a family return here just a couple weeks ago for a quick stop on their way back to their country of service. While they were here we were able to celebrate one of their kid’s birthdays. The kids openly shared with us that when they think of coming “home” they picture coming to Sanctuary Inn.

We are grateful we can be a place of refuge and “home” for adults and children living and serving all over the world!
